FAQs
Roof restoration returns your roof to its best condition without the need for an expensive roof replacement.
The process involves pressure cleaning, repairs and roof painting. More details can be found here.
We sure do.
In fact, we specialise in it.
All of our qualified roof tilers have a minimum 25 years of experience.
There isn’t a leak scenario that they haven’t come across.
Leaks can be caused by something as simple as a broken tile, pointing or bedding, or more complex such as faulty tile clips, flashings or the actual design of the roof itself.
Whatever it is we will fix it permanently. More details can be found here.
It’s a matter of aesthetics. The roof is large part of your house, and a brand new looking roof will make your house look more beautiful, and more appealing to a buyer’s eye.
There’s also the matter of upkeep and ongoing maintenance. Following a roof restoration, potential buyers won’t need to worry about expenses related to the roof such as leaks, repairs etc.
Yes, we do.
Richard, the owner of the company, will be carrying out your roof quote himself.
We will give you full report on the condition of your roof and what needs to be done.
We will then give you a written quote and leave you to decide whether you want it or not. We never push you with aggressive sales tactics.
Unfortunately, the roof restoration industry does have its fair share of ‘cowboys’.
Apart from poor workmanship, warranties is the grey area that stands out the most.
Be very careful with the full ‘10-year warranty’ from other companies.
This is almost always a manufacturer’s warranty (not the restoration company’s warranty) and is the only warranty they will give you.
This means if you ever have a warranty issue they will put you in touch with the paint company and leave you to it.
The 10-year manufacturer’s warranty should be a given and any reputable company will give you this anyway.
What we offer on top of the manufacturer’s warranty is a full 7-year workmanship warranty.
This is our personal guarantee that we stand behind all the work we do.
All members of our team are fully qualified and licenced tradesmen with decades of experience within their respective fields.
That means roof repairs will be carried out by a qualified roof tiler and roof painting by a qualified painter.
So rest assured we will get the job done right.
We also have full insurance and licences for all the work we do. OHS and environmental guidelines are always followed. More details can be found here.
No. The average roof restoration salesman makes between $800 – $1,500 per job.
That is direct cost to you – the customer.
But we don’t employ these expensive salesmen.
Quotes are carried out by the owner of the company, Richard.
This means we can afford to offer you lower-cost roof restoration. You also get the chance to talk to the person directly responsible for the quality of the work.
